From Malta’s stunning waterfront to Croatia’s bustling capital, and from Germany’s HafenCity district to France’s La Défense, each new property is designed to offer premium accommodations, coworking spaces, wellness facilities, and contemporary meeting areas, reinforcing Novotel’s commitment to redefining travel experiences across key European destinations.

Novotel is strengthening its presence in Europe with new hotel openings in Malta, Croatia, Germany, France, and Spain. These expansions align with the brand’s ongoing growth strategy, increasing its footprint in key European destinations.

Since its founding in 1967, Novotel has built nearly 600 hotels in over 60 countries, with more than 180 additional properties in development. The brand emphasizes a balance of comfort, work-friendly environments, and leisure spaces, catering to modern travelers.

New Openings in 2025

• Novotel Valencia Lavant, Spain – This hotel features 370 rooms, coworking spaces, and an on-site restaurant. Located near the Palacio de Congresos, it boasts a rooftop pool bar and terrace, offering scenic views and premium amenities.
• Novotel Malta Sliema, Malta – Marking Novotel’s debut in Malta, this waterfront hotel offers 293 rooms, a rooftop pool, a bar and terrace, and a wellness center. It also includes conference and meeting facilities, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
• Novotel Zagreb, Croatia – Slated to open this summer, this hotel will be the fifth Accor property in Croatia. It features 163 rooms, a fitness area with a sauna, a garden and terrace, and 500 sqm of conference space. Its location provides convenient access to Franjo Tuđman International Airport.
• Novotel Hamburg HafenCity, Germany – Located in the vibrant HafenCity district, this hotel is set to open later this year. It will offer 163 rooms, a restaurant, and a bar, with easy access to local attractions and shopping areas. This will be the 27th Novotel hotel in Germany.
• Novotel Paris La Défense Nanterre, France – Opening this summer, this 170-room hotel will be situated in the La Défense district. It will feature contemporary interiors, a stylish restaurant and bar, and over 4,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
