The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) made a significant impact at SATTE 2025, successfully building valuable relationships with the Indian travel trade community. Held from February 19-21 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi, the MTPA pavilion attracted nearly 450 visitors, including tour operators, travel agents, media personnel, and other professionals from the industry. The stall featured 12 key partners, including Air Mauritius, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and hotel representatives, offering attendees an opportunity to discover the island’s varied attractions and gain in-depth knowledge of its diverse tourism offerings.

Speaking about participation, Ms. Zeenat Gangee, Tourism Promotion Manager,
Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), stated: “SATTE 2025 has been an
incredible opportunity for us to deepen our engagement with the Indian market. The
visitors’ interest and intrigue towards Mauritius’ breathtaking landscapes, luxury resorts,
and immersive experiences was palpable throughout the event. It was a pleasure to
connect with trade partners and exchange crucial insights. We are pleased to see
Mauritius’ growing appeal in the Indian market, including in North India, where demand
for luxury holidays, weddings, and family getaways is on the rise. “

MTPA’s participation at SATTE 2025 was a key part of its strategy to broaden its reach in India, strengthen partnerships with travel experts, and boost the visibility of Mauritius as a dynamic travel destination. Through ongoing engagement and personalized offerings, MTPA is dedicated to positioning Mauritius as the top choice for Indian tourists.
