Textron Aviation has appointed Luke Pankey as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, entrusting him with the responsibility of transforming IT operations across the company. With over a decade of leadership experience at Textron Aviation, including roles as Director of Global Infrastructure & Project Management and Deputy CIO at eAviation, Pankey brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position. In his role as Chief Information Officer, he will lead the company’s IT strategy, overseeing projects that drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure a customer-focused approach to technology solutions across Textron Aviation, Textron Aviation Defense, and affiliated companies.

A Decade of Leadership at Textron Aviation
Textron Aviation has appointed Luke Pankey as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) after a decade of dedicated service within the company.

Proven Experience in IT and Leadership
With a strong track record of leadership, Pankey has held multiple key roles throughout his tenure, most recently serving as Director of Global Infrastructure & Project Management at Textron Aviation and Deputy CIO of eAviation.

Overseeing IT Operations Across Textron Aviation
In his new position, he will oversee all information technology (IT) operations for Textron Aviation, Textron Aviation Defense, and affiliated companies. His expertise spans IT integration, project deployment, fostering a data-driven culture, and leading high-performing teams.

Military Background in IT Management
Before joining Textron Aviation, Pankey served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 13 years, culminating in his role as Deputy IT Director for the 21st Medical Group at Air Force Space Command.

Stepping Into the Role on March 14
Effective Friday, March 14, Pankey steps into his new role, committed to collaborating with colleagues and driving IT solutions that enhance customer value.
